FUNCTIONAL STATE OF NON-SPECIFIC BRAIN SYSTEMS IN LONG-LIVERS DURING WAKEFULNESS AND SLEEP
The state of non-specific systems of the brain, its synchronizing and desynchronizing mechanisms in wakefulness and sleep in long-livers of the Lankaran region of Azerbaijan was studied. EEG recording was carried out in relaxed wakefulness, using index, frequency and amplitude analyses according to the Neuron-Spectrum NET programs. The Quasi device (Germany) was used to record and analyze night sleep. It was re-vealed that long-livers have a predominance of synchronizing (inhibitory) mechanisms in wakefulness and a decrease in the functional activity of the cortex, and during the process of night sleep - the ascending influ-ences of desynchronizing (activation) links of non-specific systems and the active state of the cortex.
