A Comparative Study between Transoral and Transbuccal Method for Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of Mandibular Angle Fracture
A single monocortical Plate is acceptable for open reduction and internal fixation(ORIF) of a noncomminutedangle fracture. This plate can be fixed at the external oblique ridge through a Transoral approach orthrough a Transbuccal approach via a Trocar system. In this study, we compare the Transoral method and theTransbuccal method for ORIF of mandible angle fracture with regards to operating time and various post operative complications.
