A Study On Analgesic Effects Of Mudakkathan In Selected Individuals Of Puducherry Region

Pain management remains a critical area of medical research, with increasing interest in natural alternatives to synthetic analgesics due to their potential safety and efficacy. This study investigates the analgesic properties of selected Indian medicinal herbs, traditionally used in Ayurveda and folk medicine, to evaluate their potential as natural pain-relieving agents with potentially fewer side effects compared to synthetic analgesics. This study aims to evaluate the pain-relieving properties of commonly used Indian herb Mudakkathan. By understanding the properties and effects of the herb, the study aims to contribute to the development of evidence-based, alternative herbal medicines for pain management. This study aims to evaluate selected Indian herb analgesic effects of Mudakkathan identifying bioactive compounds through phytochemical analysis, and assessing safety through toxicity studies. The findings may provide valuable insights into the therapeutic potential of these herbs, offering a promising avenue for creating safer and more effective pain relief options. Ultimately, this research could pave the way for integrating the herb Mudakkathan into modern pain management practices, providing a holistic approach to health and wellness.
