Thermal stress management in poultry
The poultry industry has been widely recognized as one of the most rapidly growing sector within the global agricultural sector (FAO 2023). Environmental variation is a key factor influencing the sustainability of livestock production systems in tropical climate (Sinha et al., 2017). Chickens are highly sensitive to changes of environmental temperature with extreme weather conditions resulting in impacting their growth, egg production and overall health. In order to achieve optimal growth and economic returns, it is essential to maintained an ideal temperature for poultry.
