THE ROLE OF ENGLISH IN ECONOMICS, LAW, HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION AND ECOLOGY
In the era of globalization and interdisciplinary collaboration, the English language plays a pivotal role across diverse fields such as economics, law, hydraulic engineering construction, and ecology. This paper explores how English serves not only as a medium of international communication but also as a critical tool for accessing scientific knowledge, legal frameworks, technical documentation, and global discourse in these domains. In economics and law, English facilitates participation in international trade, negotiations, and legal harmonization. In hydraulic engineering construction, it enables professionals to engage with global standards, research innovations, and cross- border projects. Similarly, in ecology, English is essential for collaboration on climate change initiatives, environmental policies, and conservation efforts. The study emphasizes the importance of English proficiency for professionals and researchers aiming to contribute meaningfully to global scientific and technical communities.
