Emoji as a Precept for Fixations and Saccades Using Physiological Control Systems

The state space model is used in this paper on different iteratives process to model the parameters obtainedfrom attributes of users from a visual study involving eye tracking to obtain parameters like pupil dilations, fixation duration, fixations, saccades, and attributes from physiological measure like skin conductance response(SCR)(Amplitude, Latency, Half recovery time, Peaks) and Heart rate variability. A user-friendly model was designed o represent the emojis and also serve as the predicted classes of response in a database of emotions towards visual content. The result suggests that emojis can indeed influence our gaze patterns. Emojis that indicate direction, such as those pointing or waving, tended to attract more fixations and guide saccades in the intended direction and stress (dislike) indicates the least error (0.19%) in this regard.
