Topological Invariants in Particle Physics: Top Quark Decay Anomalies and Confinement

This work investigates the connection between topological invari-ants and processes in particle physics. We demonstrate that anomaliesin t → W b decay can be explained through the topological charge ofthe B-field. Furthermore, we derive the confinement Lagrangian fromthe noncommutative algebra SU (3)c ⊗ SU (2)spin, which explains themass gap in QCD

Abstract

This work investigates the connection between topological invari-ants and processes in particle physics. We demonstrate that anomaliesin t → W b decay can be explained through the topological charge ofthe B-field. Furthermore, we derive the confinement Lagrangian fromthe noncommutative algebra SU (3)c ⊗ SU (2)spin, which explains themass gap in QCD
