Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/wardeh2015 hash://md5/ed5ec44c768ad91a517981298b57a476

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/wardeh2015, has fingerprint hash://md5/ed5ec44c768ad91a517981298b57a476, is 3.66MiB in size and contains 259,575 interaction with 1 unique type of association (e.g., hasHost) between 8,913 primary taxon (e.g., influenza a virus) and 6,314 associated taxon (e.g., homo sapiens). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
