Observational Support for TGIU's Omega Phase Prediction, A Shift in the Dark Energy Paradigm
Recent findings from the "Union3" supernova dataset and independent galaxy distribution measurements by DESI provide compelling evidence for a weakening of dark energy. This challenges the standard cosmological model (ΛCDM) and directly supports an early prediction made by the TGIU (Teoria Gravito-Informațională Universală) framework. Specifically, TGIU anticipates a deceleration of cosmic acceleration as the universe transitions into an informationally stabilized state known as the Omega Phase. This article outlines the alignment between new empirical results and the TGIU's dynamic model of dark energy. Since its proposal, the TGIU model has posited that gravity and cosmic expansion are not merely geometric or energetic, but are driven by informational gradients (∇S) and entropy potentials (ΔΦ_C). One of TGIU's core predictions is that dark energy is not constant but evolves over time, leading to a future phase where expansion slows and reverses: the Omega Phase. This stands in contrast to the static cosmological constant in the ΛCDM model.
