Paper 54: Emergent Gravity and Cosmology from Coherence Strain in the Holosphere Lattice
Wepresent a unified framework in which gravity and cosmic acceleration emerge from angular coherence strain in a discrete, rotating spacetime lattice—termed the Holosphere. In this model, the universe consists of concentric spherical shells composed of nested, spinning Holospheres. Gravitational attraction arises from gradients in a tensor field representing angular momentum density, while repulsive acceleration emerges from a scalar field sourced by Lorentz-enhanced rotational kinetic energy. Wederive a scalar field energy density of ρϕ = (1−1/π)ρrest ≈ 68.17%, matching the observed dark energy fraction without invoking a cosmological constant.[2, 3] A strain-curvature tensor Sµν is introduced to replace the Einstein tensor, sourcing curvature from phase gradients in the spin lattice. The framework recovers both the Schwarzschild and Friedmann solutions in appropriate limits and reinterprets spacetime curvature as a manifestation of discrete angular deformation. We propose a new geometric origin for gravitational waves as propagating coherence oscillations and outline how the post-Newtonian limit emerges from tensor strain gradients. This model predicts deviations from ΛCDM, including time dilation saturation at high redshift, modified Tolman surface brightness scaling, and redshift saturation near the coherence boundary. By unifying tensor and scalar dynamics within a non-expanding, spin-based lattice, this theory reframes general relativity as a macroscopic limit of deeper angular coherence laws. The vacuum energy density is derived from a spherical Casimir-like suppression mechanism, and a consistent action principle is presented. This coherence-based model offers falsifiable predictions and a physical alternative to both metric-based gravity and expanding universe cosmology.
