Research on Simulation Of H-Bridge 5-Level Inverter
In recent years, the demand for renewable energy solutions, particularly solar power, has surged as the world transitions toward more sustainable energy sources. However, the efficiency of converting solar energy into usable AC power remains a critical challenge, primarily due to limitations in traditional inverter systems that struggle with high harmonic distortion, poor scalability, and energy inefficiencies. In this paper, we address these challenges by developing a multilevel inverter using advanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques. This paper involves the design and simulation of a 5-level H-Bridge multilevel inverter in Simulink, integrating a solar panel model to provide DC power for efficient DC-to-AC conversion. The system utilizes Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques to optimize switching patterns, minimize harmonics, and improve overall power quality. By focusing on reduced harmonic distortion, enhanced energy efficiency, and a scalable inverter architecture, this paper aims to improve the performance and reliability of solar energy systems. The proposed system offers a cost-effective, sustainable, and high-efficiency solution, addressing the limitations of traditional inverters and promoting the adoption of renewable energy in both residential and industrial applications.
