Temporal Phase Displacement in Gravitational Lensing: Evidence for Coherence Gradient Waves
We present observational evidence of temporal gravitational lensing behavior inconsistent with static mass expectations under General Relativity. Using multi-epoch data from the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), we analyze galaxy clusters SMACS J0723 and Abell 2744. Both fields show dramatic increases in multiple-image arcs—+30 and +75 respectively—over a few years, including new arcs in previously lens-free regions. These results are anomalous under GR, which predicts static lensing barring source evolution. By contrast, the Coherence Field Paradigm (CFP) anticipates precisely these effects through Coherence Gradient Waves (CGWs): propagating field structures that dynamically distort spacetime phase alignment. A quantitative model using CGW interaction parameters predicts observed arc increases with 81× greater statistical accuracy than GR (χ² = 20.13 vs. 1633.5). This may constitute the first empirical evidence of dynamic gravitational behavior outside classical spacetime curvature, supporting a field-based reinterpretation of lensing phenomena.
