Historical Thinking and Epistemological Transparency

The Grammar of Time (Kreuzer 2023) is an apt title. Learning grammar is hard work, and reading Kreuzer’s book is not easy. One must keep attentive to learn the vocabulary and the syntax that he is teaching. But he is never patronizing. Kreuzer really wants us, his readers, to understand. You can almost hear him expounding his ideas and arguments in the classroom when reading the text, and you can feel how much the subject matter means to him.
