Decentralized Trust Fund: Empowering Crowdfunding with Blockchain Technology
Crowdfunding has redefined how projects and star- tups secure financial support by harnessing the collective con- tributions of a broad audience. Despite its growth, conventional crowdfunding platforms still grapple with numerous challenges, including high transaction fees, a lack of transparency, central- ized authority, and geographic constraints. These platforms act as intermediaries, imposing service fees and overseeing fund distribution, which can undermine trust among backers and project creators. Moreover, centralized systems are prone to security vulnerabilities and censorship, creating risks for both donors and fundraisers.
