THE IMPACT OF JOB PRESSURE AND WORK-LIFE BALANCE ON THE TURNOVER INTENTION OF ACCOUNTING EMPLOYEES
The trend of quitting and job-hopping among young people today is relatively high, particularly in the accounting sector, where employees often face pressure for high accuracy in their work as well as significant job demands that disrupt their work-life balance. This study explores the impact of job pressure on work-life balance and the turnover intention of accounting employees. The research was conducted by collecting survey data from 225 accounting employees working at enterprises in Vietnam, using structural equation modeling analyzed through Smart PLS 4.0 software to process the collected data. The findings indicate that job pressure affects work-life balance but does not directly influence employees’ turnover intention. The study also provides managerial implications to help businesses reduce the turnover rate of accounting employees and improve their work-life balance.
