The article analyses the legislative framework governing the establishment and functioning of the State Register of Property Damaged and Destroyed as a Result of Hostilities, Terrorist Acts and Sabotage Caused by the Armed Aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. The objective is to analyse the legal acts regulating the creation and operation of the register and to assess its role in damages compensation system. The research applies methods of legal analysis and comparison of legislation. The findings indicate that the register serves an important legal and administrative tool for ensuring access to compensation, restoring property rights, and supporting post-war recovery of Ukraine. However, the current legislative framework also reveals certain regulatory gaps that limit access to compensation for specific categories of affected persons.
