Oral presentation, ECOMONDO conference (06/11/2024)

This presentation was delivered as an oral contribution within the session organized by EURECAT, titled “Sea4Value: Novel technologies in seawater desalination plants to extract minerals and metals from seawater brines”, at the Ecomondo Conference on 6 November 2024 (see full agenda on the right). Dr. Panagiotis Pappas presented the work conducted by SEALEAU as part of the SEA4VALUE project. The results shared in this presentation have been fully documented in confidential deliverables submitted by SEALEAU to the European Commission. The associated experimental data have been made publicly available as Open Datasets via the following link: (insert new link). SEALEAU carried out the experiments using their equipment at the site of the Green Village at TU Delft. EURECAT and TU Delft carried out the ICP analysis of collected samples. AQUALIA provided the brine samples from their desalination plant in Tenerife. Note: The advanced evaporator featured in this work was entirely designed, developed, and demonstrated by SEALEAU and remains its proprietary technology.
