IMPACTS OF SOCIAL STIGMAS AND STRUCTURAL BARRIERS ON THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) AND THEIR FAMILIES: EMPHASIS ON THEIR INCLUSION IN THE WORKPLACE
This research explores the redefinition of social vulnerabilities and the inclusion in the labor market of families of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The neoperspectivist paradigm The giftedean model was used as an epistemological axis, seeking a holistic understanding of family experiences. Through the hypothetical-deductive method and a Narrative Bibliographic and Documentary Review, the findings revealed the influence of stigmas on family well-being and the importance of inclusive policies. However, gaps were identified, such as the lack of research adapted to diverse cultural and socioeconomic contexts. The contributions include insights for more effective public policies and inclusive business practices.
