Literature, which is a mirror reflecting the times, is composed with contemporary existence and its environment as its theme. Ancient Tamil literature is mostly composed by poets in the true glory of the king who is the patron. However, it records the dignity and governance of everyone from the crown-bearing Peruvendar to the small-town king, and occasionally the living conditions of individuals. This article is an attempt to find out how the administrative capacity of the kings who inherited the kingdom and the lifestyle of the people of that time were cultivated in ancient Tamil land from the peak of the development of education, science and civilization.
