Synergistic effect of biopesticides and agrochemicals on the resistance development in test fungi. (Alternaria alternata)
Abstract Synergistic effects of biopesticides on the growth of test fungi were studied by mixing biopesticides belonging to family Meliaceae with members of family Lamiaceae. Agrochemicals such as insecticides, antibiotics, salts, fertilizers, were mixed with all the biopesticides, which showed promising results that, test fungi become resistant to biopesticide with agrochemicals such as insecticides, antibiotics, salts, fertilizers. The test fungi Alternaria alternata found somewhat resistant against combinations of leaf extracts Melia azedarach + Mentha spicata (44.00 and 42.33 in concentration 2 and 4 %) and 14.28 percentage control efficacy was observed, which was very less. Thimate showed growth of Alternaria alternata more i.e.at 10 % concentration it was observed 53.33 and at 20% concentration 53.00, whereas P.C.E. also found very less, i.e. 5.32 % and5.91 % respectively. Streptomycin showed 41.00 at 10 % concentration. Sodium chloride is responsible to resist the growth of test fungus. Which showed 41.00 at 10 % concentration and 21.65 % P.C.E. and fertilizer, Super Phosphate in combination with leaf extracts showed, 59.00 at 10 % concentration and P.C.E. was 19.17 %.
