Potwierdzenie występowania Lejops vittatus (Meigen, 1822) (Diptera: Syrphidae) w Polsce / Confirmation of the occurrence of Lejops vittatus (Meigen, 1822) (Diptera: Syrphidae) in Poland

The authors present the first data on the species Lejops vittatus (Meigen, 1822) in Poland, 112 years after its only published observation in our country. It was rediscovered between 1992 and 2025 at nine sites, with a total of 61 individuals. Photographs of females and habitats from most locations were provided. A distribution map was created containing data from the present authors, as well as 4 further sites with data from the GBIF system.
