USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN MAPPING SOCIAL SERVICES: RELEVANCE, OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

Today, innovations in social work play an important role, as events in Ukraine require thorough changes and have certain challenges. Therefore, the article analyzes the role of digital technologies in the process of mapping social services. The content of the concept of social mapping, its functional purpose, and the prospects for implementing geographic information systems (GIS), web platforms, and mobile applications in the practice of social work are revealed. Special attention is paid to international and Ukrainian experience in the application of digital mapping, as well as obstacles and challenges that arise in the process of digital transformation of the social services sector.
