Europe's urgent need to seawater desalination
In recent years, several regions in Europe have witnessed a decline in rainfall, a trend expected to intensify in the coming years. Some rivers have dwindled to dangerous lows or even completely dried up. The specter of water scarcity in Europe is not a far-off concern but a pressing reality that requires immediate action. To avert a water crisis and secure access to freshwater for future generations, Europe needs to take proactive steps towards water sustainability. One promising solution is to invest in seawater desalination on a grand scale coupled with developing and harnessing renewable energy sources.
