Though a clinical systematic development in ethics and values we can identify in the Western tradition, also in India, more specifically in Vedic Philosophy, we witnessed a discussion concerning human rights and values. The core of the Indian philosophical tradition lies within the ethical aspects of Human life. Almost every Indian philosophical tradition emphasises human values from ethical, Moral, and religious perspectives. In Indian tradition, the concept of values is interconnected with the concept of Dharma. The main theme of this paper is reflected within the discussion on dharma, values, and purusvarthas from the Vedic perspectives. This article is composed of three sections. The first section consists of an introductory section in which I made a discussion on different values of human life. The second section is confined to discussing human values from the Vedic perspective. And, the final section is the concluding remarks in which the article suggests the relevance of the Vedic concept of human values in the present global perspectives.
