The Point Particle Illusion: Redefining Existence through Normal Projection of Closed Surfaces
This paper reinterprets the concept of particles and probability through the geometry of closed surfaces. It proposes that the widely accepted notion of point-like particles arises not from the intrinsic nature of matter, but from the constraints of observation: specifically, the fact that any closed surface can only interact with another through a single normal projection point. This directional limitation creates the illusion of discrete particles and probabilistic outcomes. The study introduces a surface-based ontology in which all physical properties emerge from the structure and orientation of closed surfaces, leading to a new form of geometric relativity. Observation, interaction, scattering, and even quantum degeneracy are shown to be structural phenomena rather than fundamental indeterminacies. This work offers a foundational shift toward describing physical existence through surface geometry and structured interactions.
