The Effects of Sleep Disorders on Student Well-Being: Impacts on Quality of Life, Academic Performance, and Social Functioning
This study examines the effect of sleep disorders on the overall well-being of university students, specifically on academic performance, productivity, quality of life, and social functioning. Based on novel data gathered by a structured questionnaire at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), the research questions how students perceive and manage sleep-related issues. The findings demonstrate robust associations between poor sleep and decreased academic achievement, emotional well-being, and daytime functioning. The study suggests a number of practical solutions to enhance sleep hygiene and promote student well-being based on the results.
