This research article is written as an introduction to the Eelam theatre personality, the child M. Shanmugalingam, and a description of his creative activities, its classifications and the formation of his personality, and is structured based on the opinions presented by scholars in the field. In terms of Eelam, studies on his works have been carried out based on his famous plays, which are mentioned separately. The period from the beginning to the end (1931 – 2025) has not been fully covered. Therefore, this research is being carried out by the researcher as its first attempt. It is a challenging task to undertake this. Since I am currently trying to collect information related to him and have been associated with him in his life for more than two decades by talking to him, this research is presented as a cross-sectional view based on what I have learned from them. Through this, we hope to create an understanding of this personality for the Tamil people of the world.
