THE INFLUENCE OF THE GREEK ALPHABET IN RUSSIAN WRITINGS

The article discusses the influence of the Greek alphabet in Russian writing. After determining the origin and etymology of the word alphabet, we tried to give a deep analysis of the birth of Russian writing. As indicated in our article, most Russian letters are from the Greek alphabet. As a conclusion, we can easily say that the Greek alphabet is the “mother” of the Russian alphabet. To fix our scientific objective, we used the analytical and descriptive scientific method.
