Ξ-Field Precursors in GW231123: Evidence for Coherence-Based Chirps and Mass Gap Violation (Reaction Paper)
This reaction paper analyzes the GW231123 gravitational wave event observed by LIGO–Virgo–KAGRA on November 23, 2023. We identify a low-frequency pre-merger power excess in both Hanford and Livingston detectors, unexplained by General Relativity (GR) waveform models. This feature matches the General Coherence Field Theory (GCFT) prediction of a coherence-driven Ξ\XiΞ-field pre-chirp resulting from phase retraction prior to merger decoherence. The results provide the first observational evidence supporting GCFT’s field-first ontology of mass and gravity, challenging GR-only interpretations. This work builds on the foundational GCFT papers:[1] Coherence Field Cosmology: Replacing ΛCDM with a Single Coherence Field (Ξ) — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15883336[2] General Coherence Field Theory: A Unified Description of Reality via Coherence Phase Dynamics — https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.16044348 Files included: PDF of reaction paper Supplemental figures from LIGO data
