Hypopterygiopsis microclada Li Bing Zhang & X. M. Zhou 2024, comb. nov.

Hypopterygiopsis microclada (Baker) Li Bing Zhang & X.M. Zhou, comb. nov. Basionym: Selaginella microclada Baker in Baker (1884: 246). Type: INDIA. Sikkim: Chong-tong, alt. 4000 ft. 22 July 1862, Dr. Anderson 1404 (K001067485!). Distribution: Bhutan, China, Nepal, India, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam (Shalimov & Zhang 2021). Notes: This species is similar to Hypopterygiopsis monospora (Spring 1850: 135) Li Bing Zhang & X.M. Zhou in Zhou & Zhang (2023: 669), but the former has denticulate leaves and slightly dimorphic sporophylls, whereas the latter has denticulate to ciliolate leaves and strongly dimorphic sporophylls (Shalimov & Zhang 2021).
