ANALYSIS OF THE MEDICAL AND DEMOGRAPHIC COMPOSITION OF PATIENTS IN A SPECIALIZED CARDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITALS
The burden of cardiovascular diseases continues to rise globally, with significant implications for healthcare systems. Understanding the medical and demographic composition of patients admitted to specialized cardiology departments is essential for optimizing resource allocation and tailoring interventions. This study aims to analyze the demographic characteristics, clinical profiles, and comorbidities of patients treated in a specialized cardiology department of hospitals in Uzbekistan from 2019 to 2023. Targeted interventions, including early screening and management of hypertension and diabetes, are critical for reducing the burden of CVDs. Additionally, enhancing healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions could address delays in diagnosis and treatment.
