D3.1 Report on the developed methods and indicators framework

The deliverable describes the development of an indicator framework intended to holistically evaluate the performance and impacts of NbS interventions, synthesizing state-of-the-art NbS indicators while combining the principles of (i)sustainability, (ii)circularity, and (iii)justice. The development of the framework was based on a set of criteria that characterize it in relation to its potential to measure progress towards the aforementioned principles, as well as a set of technical criteria on credibility, applicability and ability to track temporal changes. The methodology was implemented in 7 European Cities, producing tailored indicator frameworks.
