Detection of Gravitational-Seismic Anomaly Preceding the May 13, 2025 Earthquakes in Central Turkey and Crete

This report presents the detection of a gravitational-seismic anomaly approximately 8 hours prior to the M7.1 earthquake in Central Turkey and M6.0–6.4 earthquakes in Crete and the Dodecanese Islands on May 13, 2025. The anomaly was registered in Haifa, Israel, at a distance of 770–800 km from the epicenters, consistent with a precursor wave speed of ~100 km/h (KaY-wave). Although a full prediction was not issued due to the absence of a five-station network, this event supports the theory and practical feasibility of short-term earthquake forecasting.
