Review of Soil Quality in Terms of Chemical Characteristics
Abstract: Soil quality is a critical factor influencing agricultural productivity and environmental health. The chemical parameters of Soil, such as pH, organic matter, nutrient content (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium), and the presence of heavy metals or contaminants, determine its fertility and sustainability. These chemical indicators play a vital role in assessing Soil health and its suitability for plant growth. Imbalances in Soil chemistry can lead to reduced crop yields, Soil degradation, and environmental pollution. Understanding and managing Soil chemical properties are essential for sustainable agriculture, ecosystem preservation, and mitigating the impact of pollutants. This study explores the significance of chemical parameters in evaluating Soil quality and their implications for agricultural and environmental sustainability
