Role of Cloud Computing in Post-COVID Healthcare Infrastructure
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed significant limitations in traditional healthcare systems, particularly in terms of scalability, accessibility, and data management. In response, cloud computingemerged as a vital enabler of resilient and adaptive healthcare infrastructures. This paper explores thetransformative role of cloud computing in strengthening post-COVID healthcare systems. It highlights keyapplications such as remote patient monitoring, telemedicine, real-time data sharing, and scalableelectronic health records (EHRs). The paper also examines cloud-based solutions deployed during thepandemic and how these innovations have evolved to meet ongoing healthcare demands. Furthermore, itdiscusses critical challenges such as data privacy, interoperability, and regulatory compliance. The studyconcludes that integrating cloud computing into healthcare not only addresses immediate post-pandemicneeds but also lays the foundation for a smarter, more responsive healthcare ecosystem.
