Synthesis and X-Ray diffraction analysis of Glycine-Doped Zinc Sulphate (Glycine-ZGS), L-Proline Doped-ZGS and Cobalt Doped-ZGS Crystals
In this study, Glycine-ZGS crystals were synthesized using glycine (NH₂CH₂COOH) and zinc sulfate heptahydrate (ZnSO₄·7H₂O) in a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio. The structural characterization of the synthesized crystals was conducted through Xray diffraction (XRD) analysis, confirming their monoclinic crystalline nature. The formation of the compound was further validated by X-ray diffractograms, with the obtained results compared against standard reference data from the JCPDS database. The analysis conclusively verifies the successful synthesis of Glycine-ZGS crystals .The synthesized crystal was analyzed using single-crystal X-ray diffraction to determine its unit cell dimensions. Additionally, powder X-ray diffraction analysis was performed to characterize the crystal structure and identify the diffracting planes.
