Diversity Management in Higher educational institutions: A Study of Bangalore District

Abstract: There are number of ways to assess the success of diversity campus in HEIs. Even though diversified scholarship and diversified courses in the curriculum shows enthusiasm and interest, only small group of faculties and students compare to broad vision and deep commitment having institutions. The study examined which factors have influence on higher educational institutions when giving priority to diversity and give importance of diversity in higher education and also issues faced by higher education institutions while managing diversity. Institutional characteristics and students’ perception related to diverse perspective, and knowing diversified environment would affect academic performance of the students, and academic achievement of the faculties.
