Italochrysa robusta
* Italochrysa robusta (Needham, 1909) Nothochrysa robusta Needham, 1909: 202. Type locality: India (Assam: Sivasagar). Indian distribution: Assam: Darrang Dist.: Darrang (region); Sivasagar Dist.: Sivasagar [Sibsagar] (city); Sonitpur Dist.: Tezpur (city); Meghalaya: East Khasi Hills Dist.: Shillong (hill station) (Needham 1909: 202; Ghosh & Sen 1977: 298; Ghosh 1990a: 333; Ghosh 2000a: 57; Ghosh 2000b: 101). World distribution: India (Needham 1909: 202; Oswald 2024a). Note: The species-group name robusta Needham, 1909 [Nothochrysa] (currently considered a valid species in Italochrysa), is a junior primary homonym of robusta Gerstaecker, 1894 [Nothochrysa] (currently considered a junior subjective synonym of Chrysopa pallens (Rambur, 1842)). If robusta Needham is truly distinct, and remains without synonyms, the potential need for a new replacement name should be further investigated.
