APPLICATION OF MSCT-ANGIOPULMONOGRAPHY AND MSCT-PHLEBOGRAPHY METHODS IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF PULMONARY EMBOLISM
Abstract Relevance: The relevance of this scientific article lies in improving the diagnosis and treatment of diseases with high mortality, such as pulmonary embolism (PE). Statistics show a significant number of deaths caused by this pathology, including due to the difficulties in its diagnosis and the need for surgical intervention. The use of multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) techniques - angiopulmonography and MSCT phlebography is a promising approach to the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. These methods provide the possibility of high-resolution imaging of the vascular bed, which allows you to detect not only the presence of blood clots, but also to assess their size, location and the degree of pulmonary artery occlusion. Modern MSCT algorithms and protocols allow you to conduct studies with high accuracy, minimal impact on the patient and reduce the time of diagnosis. This is especially important in the context of pulmonary embolism, where every minute plays a decisive role in preventing severe complications. Thus, a scientific article devoted to the use of MSCT angiopulmonography and MSCT phlebography in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism is relevant and in demand in modern clinical practice, as it makes a significant contribution to improving early diagnosis, determining a treatment strategy and reducing mortality from this disease. Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of MSCT angiopulmonography and MSCT phlebography in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism (PE). Research methods: The article presents algorithms for diagnosing pulmonary embolism using MSCT angiopulmonography and MSCT phlebography. Results: the results of the study on the use of MSCT angiopulmonography and MSCT phlebography in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism (PE) demonstrate high sensitivity and specificity. They play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate diagnosis of PE, which allows for appropriate treatment and prevention of possible complications.
