POST-CARBON CAPITALISM AND THE RISE OF CLIMATE SOVEREIGNTY RECONSTRUCTING GLOBAL POLITICAL ECONOMIES UNDER GREEN TRANSITION PRESSURES AND AI-LED TRADE REGIMES

This paper explores the evolving terrain of global political economies amid the twin forces of climate imperatives and technological transformation. Specifically, it interrogates the contours of a post-carbon capitalism in which climate sovereignty—defined as state-led ecological autonomy and decarbonization strategy—emerges as a key mode of governance. Simultaneously, AI-driven trade systems and green industrial policy are reshaping global supply chains, labor markets, and the geopolitical balance of power. The research synthesizes literature from environmental economics, political ecology, and AI governance to map structural transitions and offer a conceptual framework for understanding the implications of these twin dynamics. Empirical illustrations and data visualizations clarify how green transition pressures and AI-led regimes co-construct a new mode of global order.
