Subjective Quantum Structures: A Categorical Model of Observer Collapse
We develop a categorical model of quantum measurement inspired by the framework of subjective physics. Building on Renkel’s experimental setup and Kaminsky’s ontology of observer layers, we formalize the transition from underlying ontic states (not necessarily quantum) to cognitively distinguishable outcomes via functorial mappings. Key results include a theorem of cognitive collapse at critical distinguishability, a compositional model of noisy observers, and a dimensional interpretation of observer status.
