IMPROVING THE METHODOLOGY FOR TEACHING GRAMMAR TO FUTURE ENGINEERING STUDENTS USING A COGNITIVE APPROACH
This article explores how using a cognitive approach can help improve the way grammar is taught to future engineering students, focusing especially on their speaking skills. The study compares traditional grammar teaching with a new method that encourages students to understand grammar concepts deeply and use them in real-life speaking tasks. Results show that students taught with the cognitive method make fewer grammar mistakes and speak more confidently. The findings suggest this approach can be very useful in engineering English courses.
