Experimental quantum state tomography and error calculation with Monte Carlo simulation
A python script doing quantum state tomography on entangled photon pairs. Two half wave plates and two quarter wave plates on motorized rotation mounts are used to calculate the coincidences in different basis settings. These coincidences are used to do quantum state tomography and recreate the density matrix. To obtain an error, Monte Carlo simulations are performed on the coincidences.
