Neurofeedback vs. Biofeedback Training Effects on Neuroplasticity and Cognitive Performance in Elite MMA Athletes: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Reproducibility materials for the systematic review and meta-analysis on AI-driven wearable technologies in muscle tension assessment (Beyond Electromyography: A Meta-analysis Review of AI-Driven Wearable Technologies in Muscle Tension Analysis). This FAIR package includes the PRISMA flowchart and checklist, full search strategy, extraction sheet, analysis scripts (Python/R), figures (forest, leave-one-out), a risk-of-bias table, and file checksums. Contents /prisma/ – PRISMA_flowchart.pdf, PRISMA_checklist.pdf (PRISMA 2020). /search/ – Search_strategy_and_queries.md with full queries (PubMed, Scopus, WoS, IEEE Xplore, etc.), years 2000–2025, language/human filters. /extraction/ – Data_extraction_sheet.csv with Hedges g, SE/95% CI, moderators (sensor type, task modality, training status), sample sizes, comparators. /code/ – meta_pipeline.py (DerSimonian–Laird, RE), meta_pipeline.R (metafor; RE, leave-one-out). /figures/ – forest_plots.tif, leave_one_out.pdf rendered directly from the scripts. /rob/ – risk_of_bias.xlsx (adapt Cochrane RoB/ROBINS-I/NOS as appropriate). /docs/ – README.md (how to reproduce) and CHECKSUMS_sha256.txt (SHA-256 for all files). Reproducibility Python: python code/meta_pipeline.py R: source("code/meta_pipeline.R") Outputs are written to /figures/. Environment details are in docs/README.md. Methods (brief) Primary metric: Hedges g; random-effects (DerSimonian–Laird); heterogeneity (Q, τ², I²). Sensitivity: leave-one-out; optional meta-regression if moderators are extended in the extraction sheet. Fully scripted pipeline enabling 1:1 replication. Notes The extraction sheet is a structured template; ensure it contains only final values from included studies in the released version. No participant-level data (literature synthesis only).
