Impact of CPD Awards on Microsurgical Skill Advancement: A Multicenter Study

Microsurgery demands precision, dexterity, and continuous skill refinement. ContinuingProfessional Development (CPD) awards are designed to support healthcare professionals inmaintaining and enhancing their knowledge and abilities. This study investigates the impact ofCPD awards on skill acquisition, confidence, and clinical outcomes among micro surgeonsacross five major training centers. Our data indicate that recipients of CPD awards demonstratesignificant improvements in technical performance and confidence compared to non-recipients.The study supports the strategic implementation of CPD funding as an effective catalyst forsurgical excellence.
