A Study of Yoga for Physical Strength and Capacity Building of Rifle and Pistol Shooters in Maharashtra

Abstract: Participating in competitive shooting needs superior mental capabilities combined with superior physical abilities along with learned technical skill sets. A systematic evaluation of how yoga creates transformation in rifle and pistol shooter physical abilities in Maharashtra stands as the foundation for this pioneering research. A systematic quantitative research design enabled researchers to study how yoga treatment affected essential physiological responses in shooting-specific stability and strength along with endurance and flexibility measurements. A research team conducted an evaluation of yoga practices by implementing well-designed questionnaires and physical examinations on 40 professional shooters in the 18 to 45 age range, followed by comprehensive statistical testing. The physical outcomes of this study showed multiple variables with significant statistical gains reaching up to 19.4% for grip strength and 39% for shooting stability as well as 44.4% for breathing efficiency when compared to start levels. Research data shows the complete training value of yoga for athletes participating in sports requiring advanced mental and physical coordination. The research uses new empirical proof to back up yoga's scientific value in athletic performance enhancement by debating traditional training methods and offering advanced physical conditioning approaches specific to professional shooters.
