Abstract The socioeconomic traits, sources of income, and consumption expenditure patterns of rural households are examined in the current chapter. The assets, level of education, occupation, and demographic features of rural households are just a few of the variables that affect their income and consumption patterns. So these are the things that determine saving in any community.
