Panic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Its Importance and Emerging Trends
Panic Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a complex psychological disorder that develops after serious and traumatic events experienced by individuals. This disorder can profoundly affect the person's worldview, quality of life and social relationships. PTSD creates great difficulties not only for the individual but also for the family and friends around them. The most distinctive feature of PTSD is that individuals repeatedly recall the trauma they experienced. This situation often causes people to feel anxiety, fear, and depression. Individuals who have difficulty perceiving the world as a safe place have difficulty continuing their daily lives. PTSD does not only affect the individual as a conscious or subconscious response; it also affects the society surrounding them and creates unrest within society. Considering the frequency of PTSD, it is inevitable to understand the importance of this disorder. Studies show that people are highly likely to encounter a traumatic event at some point in their lives. However, everyone overcomes this situation in diverse ways; therefore, the risk of PTSD also varies. It is important to understand how deep and lasting the emotional and physical reactions that follow a stressful event can be. Many people may not recognize the symptoms of post-event stress disorder or may have difficulty identifying them at the time. Sometimes, the effects of trauma can manifest themselves years later. Therefore, it is important for any individual who has experienced a traumatic experience to recognize, acknowledge, and address the difficulties they are experiencing.
