This species is most similar to H. fortunatum sp. nov., from which it differs by stronger and more numerous apertural barriers, separated angular and parietal lamellae as well as the higher spire. Distribution. This species is known from Phattalung and Songkhla provinces, Thailand. Remarks. Intraspecific variability is noticed on the appearance of the subcolumellar lamella, it can be present or completely absent.
