Alps Elastic Dark Matter Hypothesis
Dark matter constitutes approximately 27% of the total mass-energy content of the universe andis proposed to explain observed gravitational effects. Standard dark matter models successfullyexplain the anomalies in galaxy rotation curves and gravitational lensing phenomena, but thesemodels have certain limitations. For example, the CDM model may not fully explainobservations in low-mass galaxies or the outer regions of galaxies. The Alpine Elastic Dark Matter Model Hypothesis is an alternative model proposed toovercome these limitations. In this model, elastic interactions between dark matter and visiblematter are assumed. This study tests the validity of the Alpine Elastic Dark Matter Model ongalaxy rotation curves, gravitational lensing, and cosmological scales.
